Today we are going to learn about counting numbers.
Counting helps us know how many things we have.

What is Counting?
Counting means saying numbers in order.
For example:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5
We use counting to find out:

👉 How many books
👉 How many friends
Counting with a Rhyme
Let us count slowly together:

6… 7… 8… 9… 10…
Good!
Now continue:
11… 12… 13… 14… 15…

Counting Objects
Look at the apples:

Let us count them together:
1… 2… 3… 4
There are 4 apples.
👉 When we count objects, we touch or point to each one.

Counting forward means:

Counting Backward
Counting backward means:
